Carole Schaber studied philosophy, social anthropology
and communication science at the University of Bern
and obtained her Master in 2006. As a junior researcher
she worked on the subject of Fair Trade for the policy
department of Caritas Switzerland from 2007-2008 (Publication:
Challenging Fair Trade, May 2009). As Foundation officer
she continued her work for the NGO, representing the
development aid projects towards governmental and
private donor Organizations.
As a member of the Hombori Project, she carried out
a research on the development and impact of tourism
and existing tourists infrastructures in Hombori region.
